The New Metrics team is thrilled to announce that we will be taking part in the annual Omani Society for Human Resource Management (OSHRM) Conference taking place from 9-11 October in Muscat.
OSHRM is the first and only society of its kind in Oman, run by HR leaders from both the public and private sectors. The conference, now in it’s fourth year, brings together thought-leaders, authors, and top-level HR professionals from Oman and around the region to learn, debate, discuss and network. This year’s conference theme, ‘Tomorrow is Now. Are We There Yet?’ will focus on the shifting HR landscape brought upon by mega and industry trends. The event is expected to draw over 500 people.
The New Metrics workshop will be co-delivered by our Client Director Miriam Kugel and Associate Management Consultant Jarek Michalski. The session, ‘Who will be in and out’, will explore what HR of the future will look like and how HR professionals can survive and thrive in this rapidly changing industry.
Miriam is a versatile business consultant with over 15 years’ experience in Learning and Development, Innovation, People Experience and Change Management. Internationally, she has headed various programs with Fortune 500 companies across Europe, South America and Asia. In Oman she has designed and implemented cutting-edge customer experience, people engagement and bespoke learning programs for leading organisations in the Sultanate.
Jarek is an accomplished HR and business transformation expert with international experience in HCM, Business Strategy and Policy, Organization and Talent Development. As visionary thinker, he is passionate about integrating smart HR practices into overall business strategy through creating intrapreneurial cultures and solid HR management systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Innovation Management from the London School of Economics, as well as Master’s in in HR Strategy and Organizational Psychology.
